Vestibular Therapy & BPPV Treatment

Certified in-home treatment for dizziness, vertigo, and benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) — delivered by Sarasota's vestibular rehabilitation specialist.

What Is Vestibular Therapy?

Vestibular therapy is a specialized branch of physical therapy for disorders of the inner ear and balance system. When the vestibular system is disrupted — through BPPV, labyrinthitis, vestibular neuritis, or vestibular hypofunction — the result is dizziness, vertigo, imbalance, and often significant disruption to daily life. Vestibular rehabilitation uses targeted canalith repositioning maneuvers, vestibular adaptation exercises, and balance retraining to help the brain compensate for these disruptions.

As a certified vestibular rehabilitation specialist, Mark Truskowski delivers clinical-grade assessment and treatment directly to your Sarasota home. No commute required — just expert, focused vestibular care.

The repositioning maneuvers themselves are not painful, though they may briefly trigger the vertigo sensation as displaced crystals move. This is expected, lasts only seconds, and is typically followed by immediate relief. Nausea during treatment is common and manageable.
BPPV has a recurrence rate of approximately 15–30% within one year. Recurrence is typically manageable with a single follow-up session. We'll teach you to recognize early recurrence and provide home management strategies to address it quickly.
